Serving since 1995, Fire Marshal Jim Alunni heads up the day to day operations of the Fire Prevention Bureau.

He has attended Advanced Fire Prevention and Investigation classes at the Ohio Fire Academy and the National Fire Academy.

He is a member of the National Fire Proection Association, International Code Council, International Association of Arson Investigators, Ohio Fire Officials Association, North Eastern Ohio Fire Prevention Association and the Fire Data Exchange Association.

He is in the unique position of working as the Fire Marshal for the Village of Chagrin Falls and serving as a line Firefighter for the Suburban Corporation.  He also serves as Corporate Secretary to the Fire Department.

He and his wife Beth are residents of South Russell.
